  An unidentified man has been beaten to death by soldiers of the 174 battalion in Ogijo, Ogun State, Nigeria. A Twitter user, Adesanya Abel posted a picture of the victim of the attack whose corpse laid on the street after he was killed.

  A 45-year-old man identified as Bawa, has been arrested by the Niger State Police Command for allegedly raping his three-year-old stepdaughter because his wife denied him of sex. Daily Trust reports that Bawa was arrested in Kundu, a village in Rafi Local Government Area of the state after his wife, Fatima lodged a complaint with the police.
